Notes: Can be a challenge to identify as they closely resemble other Erynnis species. Usually lacks mid forewing cell-end dot that is present in both Horace's and Juvenal's Duskywings.
Occurrence: common
Range: Ridge & Valley, Piedmont, Coastal Plain
Flight: late April, June & August
Larval hostplants: Legumes such as Wild Indigo and Crown Vetch
