Dorantes Longtail  -- Urbanus dorantes

These distant photos were taken in my yard in Dunkirk, MD one day after Hurricane Isabelle passed through Florida. Maryland received wind and rain from this storm and, apparently, at least one vagrant Dorantes Longtail was blown up and into my yard. The butterfly spent only a few minutes nectaring on Lantana and then flew off never to return.
