Notes: Sexes similar. Single white dot on orange background at midpoint of the outer forewing usually present.
Occurrence: common
Range:Ridge & Valley, Piedmont, Coastal Plain
Flight: late April - October
Larval hostplants: Pearly Everlasting (Anaphalis margaritacea), cudweeds (Gnaphalium), Pussytoes (Antennaria sp.)
